Gary Oberkrom

Gary Oberkrom, a partner in Dick Otke Construction Company joined the company in 1976.  Through out the years he has worked  in every position within the company.  In 1996, Gary purchased his interest in DOCC and today handles personnel, overseeing construction projects and helps with the day to day management.

He is a life long resident of Jefferson City. He attended Jefferson City High School and participated in the football and wrestling programs.  Gary is married to Holly Walz and they have two children, Charlie and Margaret.

Gary is active in the Jefferson City area Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Athletics Committee, served on J.C. Public Schools Strategic Planning Committee, Central Missouri Building Industries Association Board (President in 2003), YMCA Youth Soccer, Basketball coach, Faith Lutheran Board of Church Property Board, Jefferson City Zoning Ordinance Review Committee, and the Westside Business Association.  Gary is graduate of the Leadership Jefferson City program.

 

Dick Otke 

Dick Otke is a native of Jefferson City and has lived in Jefferson City his entire life.  After graduating from Helias High School and Lincoln University with a degree in business, Dick worked for the Secretary of State's office prior to entering the construction business in 1974 with his brother Louis.  After Louis' death in 1991, Dick Otke Construction Company was formed.  Gary Oberkrom became a co-owner in Dick Otke Construction Company in 1996.

Dick is a member of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce, Central Missouri Building Industries Association, The Alternative Board, and the Jefferson City Civic Progress Committee.  He served on the Board of the Jefferson City Country Club and served as fund raising chairman for the citizens for Sewer System Improvements in Jefferson City and on the Citizens Committee re-writing the Planning and Zoning Ordinances of Jefferson City. Dick is a committee member of the Capital Area Partnership for Planned Growth, appointed by the mayor of Jefferson City.

Dick is married to Dedie Otke and has one child, Brandy Otke, who resides in St. Louis, MO.

 

Dick Otke Construction Company and its employees has been active in working with the River City Habitat for Humanity.  Some of the charitable activities DOCC is involved in include individual sponsorship of the Missouri Special Olympics, Easter Seals and Missouri Cancer Society Walk-a-Thon.
